| CONTINUING EDUCATION As a Basic Open Water diver you have mastered the minimum skills necessary to experience the underwater world. Now build your confidence and skills to explore the wonders of the deep and indulge your passions and interests like wrecks, underwater photography or diving after dark. A skilled and experienced diver is a safer diver. PADI's eLearning has proven to be a valuable tool to save time and money for all concerned. You complete the academic portions where and when you like online. Pool training is scheduled monthly and open water dives can be conducted locally or at vacation locations with a referral. It is your schedule, you decide. Scuba diving is more than a sport, for many it is a passion, a personal challenge and a lifestyle. You can advance your skills and experience as an Advanced open Water Diver (AOW), Rescue Diver, Speciality Diver, Master Scuba Diver or Divemaster. In the dive community you are recognized worldwide for your achievement. As a Divemaster you enter the ranks of dive professionals where you will help other divers reach their goals. Scuba diving is a life changing experience. You will learn something about yourself while you learn about a new world few human beings will ever experience. Be a Diver! |

| OUR BOAT IS READY FOR THE DIVE SEASON! We will be posting our charter dates soon! CHECK OUT OUR VIDEO! We are planning for the start of the Maine dive season. Now is the time to get your skills refreshed in the pool and your dive gear serviced. We also have a good selection of snorkel items if your off to a tropical vacation. Next pool sessions Once you have decided to be a diver, enroll in PADI elearning (link at right) and choose a pool session for skills training. Come to the shop to complete your enrollment. The pool session is confirmed with course payment. Normally this will be followed by open water dives to complete your certification. In the winter you can complete the pool work with us and do the open water dives somewhere tropical with a referral. We also conduct scuba refreshers on these dates. Tuesday and Wednesday June 4th & 5th from 6-9pm, Falmouth Wednesday and Thursday June 19th and 20th 6-9pm, South Portland We look forward to meeting you and sharing our fantastic underwater world. Maine Divers LLC is owned and operated by divers for divers. We won't blow sunshine up your skirt about how gifted we are or how many brands we carry. We encourage you to visit other dive shops before deciding who you want to do your training. Learning to dive is pretty simple and we love diving from Maine to Australia. At Maine Divers Scuba Center we carry quality dive equipment form major providers like Mares, BARE and Body Glove. We use what we sell and if gear does not meet our standards of quality, utility and value, we don't stock it. We can assist you in equipment selection for form, fit and function. Dive gear is simple and reliable, skip the marketing hype and added expense and get what you actually need to enjoy the diving. If you want gold plating, we can to that too. |
